Double extinguisher cabinet for 6 kg extinguishers in steel Storm range Carvel

What it is

Double version of the Storm cabinet for 6 kg extinguishers: it is 550 mm wide against 315 mm for the single and closes with a single door. It is made of 0.7 mm electro-galvanised sheet steel powder coated in RAL 3000 red, with an inspection glass, sloping roof and rounded edges. The epoxy-polyester finish is salt spray tested to ISO 9227 for 10 years and withstands the weather.

How to use it

Mount it on a wall or stand in a visible, signed and accessible position, near the exits. To use it, pull out the safety pin, hold the hose, stand upwind a few metres away and direct the jet at the base of the flames with a sweeping motion. Have it inspected periodically by a qualified technician and recharged after every use, even partial.

Fix the cabinet to the wall with fixings suited to the weight of the extinguishers it contains. At every periodic inspection, check that the glass is intact and that the door opens freely.
