What it is

Polypropylene (PP) filter basket with stainless steel handle (where provided), designed to pre-filter rainwater collected in tanks. It blocks coarse material such as leaves, small stones, debris and residues, preventing water turbidity and protecting the pumping system from blockages and failures.

The filter traps leaves, dirt and impurities in the water before they reach the tank, pump or taps; it may be of the mesh, cartridge or integrated pit type.

What it is for

Used for water drainage, for filtering system water and in the installation and maintenance of plumbing systems.

How to use it

Install on the pipe or at the tank inlet, observing the flow direction. Check and clean periodically: the mesh and basket are rinsed, the cartridge is replaced, because a clogged filter reduces flow and pressure. For drinking water, use only filters designed for that purpose.
