What it is
The CSC Edilizia toe board profile, available in the variants 119-17/119-18/119-19/119-20/119-21/119-33, is the aluminium kick element at the base of safety guardrails. Its function is to prevent tools and materials from falling off the roof edge, completing the collective protection provided by the guardrail. It is machined to tolerances in accordance with the UNI-ISO 2768 standard.
Posts, bases, joints, end caps and profiles are the components from which a guardrail is assembled: they support the rails and toe boards and connect them to each other and to the structure.
What it is for
Used for fall protection, as part of a fall arrest or work restraint system and for protecting edges and corners.
How to use it
Choose components from the same system that are compatible with one another. Fit them following the manufacturer's manual, tightening the screws and fixing the bases with anchors suited to the substrate. Do not leave gaps between one element and the next. Periodically check tightness and corrosion.
