Compact impact wrench 1/2" detent pin 18V XR with 2 x 5Ah batteries DeWalt

What it is

The DeWalt DCF922 compact impact wrench with a 1/2" square drive and detent pin system belongs to the XR 18 V range and delivers a maximum fastening torque of 406 Nm, with a breakaway torque of up to 610 Nm. It has 3 speed settings with a no-load speed of up to 2500 rpm and an impact frequency of up to 3550 blows/min. With a weight of just 1.1 Kg and a length of 125 mm, it is compact and easy to handle; the kit includes two 5 Ah batteries, an LED light and CE marking.

A square-drive impact wrench is a rotary impact tool, cordless or pneumatic, for tightening and loosening nuts and bolts with sockets.

What it is for

How to use it

Fit an impact socket, tougher than standard sockets, securing it with the hog ring or detent pin of the drive. Select the mode or power setting, start the nut by hand and run the tool while keeping it in line. For bolts with a specified torque, such as wheels and structural connections, run them down with the impact wrench and finish with a torque wrench; pneumatic models require filtered, lubricated air.
