Electronic detector for line lasers, red beam, DeWalt DE0892-XJ

What it is

The DeWalt DE0892-XJ electronic detector is designed to extend the operating range of red-beam line lasers, making it possible to pick out the laser line at distances where it would not be visible to the naked eye or in very bright environments. Compact and light, it weighs just 54 g and measures 225 mm in height by 75 mm in length, with CE marking. It is supplied as a set of 3 pieces in a box.

The receiver, or detector, is an instrument that picks up the laser beam, even when it is not visible to the eye, and indicates the position of the line with a signal.

What it is for

Used for levelling surfaces and structures and for setting out, for laser measurement of distances, heights and areas and for marking out lines, dimensions and reference points before work begins.

How to use it

Switch it on, fix it to the staff or the support and move it until the signal shows that it is on the beam. Mark the position and change the batteries when the signal weakens.
