Auger bits for wood DeWalt DT4610-QZ

What it is

The DeWalt DT4610-QZ auger bit is made for deep drilling in wood. With a working length of 100 mm and an overall length of 200 mm, it allows beams, boards and sections of good thickness to be drilled. The auger geometry, with a lead screw at the tip, promotes self-feeding and fast chip evacuation along the flute. It is supplied in a single pack.

A wood drill bit is a brad-point, auger, spade or Forstner bit that drills clean, accurate holes in solid wood, panels and chipboard.

How to use it

Place the centre point on the mark and start at low speed; always use large-diameter spade and Forstner bits at reduced speed. To avoid breakout, rest the workpiece on a piece of scrap wood or finish the hole from the opposite side. Use extensions for deep holes, locking them by tightening the screw firmly.
