Auger bits for wood DeWalt DT4615-QZ

What it is

The DeWalt DT4615-QZ auger bit has a 22 mm diameter and is designed for deep drilling in wood. With a working length of 100 mm and an overall length of 200 mm, it is suited to large-diameter holes in beams, boards and thick sections. The lead screw at the tip promotes self-feeding, while the wide flute ensures effective chip removal. It is supplied in a single pack.

How to use it

Place the centre point on the mark and start at low speed; always use large-diameter spade and Forstner bits at reduced speed. To avoid breakout, rest the workpiece on a piece of scrap wood or finish the hole from the opposite side. Use extensions for deep holes, locking them by tightening the screw firmly.
