What it is
Pilot hole and countersink bit No. 10 DeWalt DT70792-QZ. Key specifications: size N°10.
A wood drill bit is a brad-point, auger, spade or Forstner bit that drills clean, accurate holes in solid wood, panels and chipboard.
What it is for
Used for fixing into timber, from assembly work to carpentry, for drilling wood and panels and for drilling steel, stainless steel and aluminium, on a pillar drill or with a hand-held drill.
How to use it
Place the centre point on the mark and start at low speed; always use large-diameter spade and Forstner bits at reduced speed. To avoid breakout, rest the workpiece on a piece of scrap wood or finish the hole from the opposite side. Use extensions for deep holes, locking them by tightening the screw firmly.
