What it is
The DeWalt DT7606-XJ replacement pilot hole and countersink bit is a countersinking component with a diameter of 3.17 mm, intended for use with drills and fitted with a quick-change system. It produces the pilot hole for woodworking and is supplied in a blister pack. The product measures 16.7 cm in length, 4.8 cm in width and 1.3 cm in height, with a weight of 0.015 kg.

What it is for
Used for furniture assembly, for fixing into timber, from assembly work to carpentry and for drilling wood and panels.
How to use it
Place the centre point on the mark and start at low speed; always use large-diameter spade and Forstner bits at reduced speed. To avoid breakout, rest the workpiece on a piece of scrap wood or finish the hole from the opposite side. Use extensions for deep holes, locking them by tightening the screw firmly.
