What it is

The DeWalt DT9559-QZ is a very long SDS-Plus Extreme bit with a diameter of 12 mm and a working length of 950 mm, dedicated to drilling concrete with SDS-Plus rotary hammers. The generous usable depth makes it ideal for through holes in thick masonry and slabs, while the carbide head ensures wear resistance in abrasive materials. The SDS-Plus shank guarantees quick, secure attachment to the tool.

How to use it

Start the hole at low speed, then engage hammer action, holding the bit square to the surface and without forcing, withdrawing it frequently to clear the dust. Clean the dust out of the hole before inserting the plug.
