SDS-plus Extreme bit 22x1000x950mm DeWalt DT9607-QZ

What it is

The DeWalt DT9607-QZ is an SDS-Plus Extreme bit with a diameter of 22 mm and a working length of 950 mm, among the deepest in the series. The carbide grit head and two-cutting-edge geometry (2 cutters) allow concrete to be drilled with consistent progress, while the SDS-Plus shank ensures quick, secure attachment on rotary hammers fitted with this chuck.

A masonry bit is a carbide-tipped bit for drilling concrete, brick and stone with a hammer drill or rotary hammer.

Used for drilling reinforced concrete, in hammer or rotary hammer mode and for drilling solid and hollow masonry, clay brick and blocks.

How to use it

Choose the machine's shank type (straight, SDS-Plus or SDS-Max) and the diameter required by the wall plug. Start the hole at low speed, then engage hammer action, holding the bit square to the surface and without forcing, withdrawing it frequently to clear the dust. Clean the dust out of the hole before inserting the plug.
