SDS-plus Extreme 2 bit 6x110x50mm, multipack, DeWalt DT9812-QZ

What it is

The DeWalt DT9812-QZ SDS-Plus drill bit from the Extreme 2 range has a 6 mm diameter, an overall length of 110 mm and 50 mm of working length. The carbide-tipped head and 2 cutters are optimised for hammer drilling in concrete, while the SDS PLUS shank ensures quick changes and a secure grip in rotary hammers and hammer drills. It is available in a multipack of 10 pieces.

How to use it

Choose the machine's shank type (straight, SDS-Plus or SDS-Max) and the diameter required by the wall plug. Start the hole at low speed, then engage hammer action, holding the bit square to the surface and without forcing, withdrawing it frequently to clear the dust. Clean the dust out of the hole before inserting the plug.
