What it is

The DeWalt DT9837-QZ SDS-Plus Extreme 2 drill bit is a professional drilling tool with a 10 mm diameter, an overall length of 210 mm and a working length of 150 mm, ideal for deeper holes. The 2-cutter geometry and carbide head ensure effective, consistent penetration in concrete, while the SDS-Plus shank ensures quick engagement and optimal transfer of the hammering action to rotary hammers. It is supplied in a multipack of 10 pieces for continuous use of the same size.

A masonry bit is a carbide-tipped bit for drilling concrete, brick and stone with a hammer drill or rotary hammer.

How to use it

Choose the machine's shank type (straight, SDS-Plus or SDS-Max) and the diameter required by the wall plug. Start the hole at low speed, then engage hammer action, holding the bit square to the surface and without forcing, withdrawing it frequently to clear the dust. Clean the dust out of the hole before inserting the plug.
