What it is

The DeWalt DWS520KTR-QS plunge saw is a corded power tool with a rated input power of 1300 W, fitted with a 165 mm diameter blade and a 20 mm bore. The no-load speed, adjustable from 1750 to 4000 rpm, makes it possible to adapt the cut to the material, while cutting depths reach 59 mm at 90° and 44 mm at 45°. Supplied with a 1.5 m straight guide rail and a TSTAK case, it promotes accurate straight cuts and tidy transport. The body weighs 5 kg and is compact in size (265 mm in height and 303 mm in length).

How to use it

Fit the blade suited to the material, observing the direction of rotation, set the depth just beyond the material thickness and clamp the workpiece. Start the blade before it touches the workpiece and feed steadily along the line or guide rail, without forcing or lifting the machine during the cut. Check that the lower guard always returns to its position, wear safety glasses and ear defenders, and connect dust extraction whenever possible.
