What it is

The Fervi T007 plunger dial indicator (0.01 mm) is a measuring instrument for dimensional checks in the machine shop, with a reading resolution of 0.01 mm. As a plunger dial indicator in the Fervi range, it makes it possible to check flatness, concentricity and minimal deviations on workpieces, mounting easily on magnetic stands and measuring equipment.

The dial indicator is a dial or digital instrument with a pointed probe, which measures small displacements and deviations from a reference: flatness, concentricity, run-out.

What it is for

Used in quality control of parts and workmanship and for measuring on site and in the workshop.

How to use it

Fix it on a stand or a rigid support, with the probe resting on the workpiece and a slight preload. Zero it at the reference point and move the workpiece or the instrument, reading the deviations. Avoid knocks and lateral stress on the probe.

Where it is used

  • Mechanical engineering industry
  • Mechanical workshops
