FBC-N fixing system Fischer

What it is

The Fischer FBC-N channel bolt is a steel fixing element dedicated to channel (profile) systems, for quick, adjustable anchoring of structures and installations. It has an M16 metric thread with a diameter D of 16 mm and strength class 8.8, a length L of 40 mm and a hot-dip galvanised finish for corrosion resistance. It is matched to the FBC-N-40/22 profile and the FES-H-40/22 anchor channel, with a minimum bolt spacing of 80 mm. Performance is documented by ETA 18/0862 approval for concrete class 12/15. The pack contains 50 pcs.

Heavy-duty fixings are steel or reinforced nylon anchors that carry high loads in concrete and solid masonry.

What it is for

Used for anchoring shelves, brackets and structures to walls, for mechanical fixing of structures and components to walls, ceilings and floors and for structural fixings, where the fixing is load-bearing and must be calculated.

How to use it

Drill with a bit of the specified diameter to the required depth, then clean the hole with a brush and blow-out pump. Insert the anchor through the part to be fixed, hammering it in if necessary, and tighten the nut with a torque wrench to the torque specified by the manufacturer. Observe the minimum edge distances and spacings stated in the technical data sheet.
