FES-C fixing system Fischer

What it is

The Fischer FES-C anchor channel is a profile to be cast into the concrete pour to create adjustable, high-performance fixing points. It has a length L of 100 mm, a width of 28 mm, a height of 15 mm and a thickness of 2.3 mm, with a channel opening width of 12 mm. It is fitted with 2 round anchors, with a length of 31 mm and a distance between anchors of 50 mm; the total embedment depth is 46.5 mm and the effective one 45 mm, with a minimum concrete thickness of 70 mm. It accepts bolts with threads from M8 to M12 (compatible with FBC-28/15). Performance is documented by ETA 18/0862 approval for concrete class 12/15.

Heavy-duty fixings are steel or reinforced nylon anchors that carry high loads in concrete and solid masonry.

What it is for

Used for anchoring shelves, brackets and structures to walls, for mechanical fixing of structures and components to walls, ceilings and floors and for structural fixings, where the fixing is load-bearing and must be calculated.

How to use it

Drill with a bit of the specified diameter to the required depth, then clean the hole with a brush and blow-out pump. Insert the anchor through the part to be fixed, hammering it in if necessary, and tighten the nut with a torque wrench to the torque specified by the manufacturer. Observe the minimum edge distances and spacings stated in the technical data sheet.
