Oil dispensing kit with 3:1 pneumatic pump for 180-220 L drums Eco series Carvel

What it is

Eco series kit for dispensing oil drawn directly from the 180-220 litre drum with a compressed-air pump. The pump has a 3:1 ratio and delivers 25 litres per minute through a 3 metre length of 1/2" hose. A digital oil gun is fitted at the end of the hose, and the whole assembly weighs 7.9 kg net.

Special liquid pumps are electric, manual, drill-driven or engine-driven pumps for transferring diesel, oils, chemicals or sludge, with the related fitting kits.

What it is for

Used in compressed air systems, from generation in the compressor room to distribution on the shop floor, for lubricating moving parts, bearings and slideways and for vehicle maintenance, in the workshop and on the road.

How to use it

Check that the pump is compatible with the liquid: for diesel, use pumps rated for fuels, and never transfer petrol or flammable solvents with standard pumps. Connect the suction and delivery hoses securely, immerse the suction end and start the pump, checking that it does not run dry. After use, empty and flush the circuit; wear gloves and safety glasses.

Safe use

Secure the pump firmly to the drum and check that the fittings are tight before applying air. Dispose of dripped oil and soiled rags as oily waste, in accordance with local regulations.
