Oil dispensing kit with 5:1 pneumatic pump for 1000 L IBC tanks Carvel

What it is

Complete kit for drawing oil from a 1000-litre IBC tank and dispensing it with a compressed-air pump fixed to the front of the tank. The pump works at a 5:1 ratio and delivers 28 litres per minute, fed through a filter-regulator-lubricator unit. The oil comes out through a hose reel with 10 metres of hose and a digital gun, and a metal drip tray catches any drips.

Special liquid pumps are electric, manual, drill-driven or engine-driven pumps for transferring diesel, oils, chemicals or sludge, with the related fitting kits.

What it is for

Used in compressed air systems, from generation in the compressor room to distribution on the shop floor, for lubricating moving parts, bearings and slideways and for vehicle maintenance, in the workshop and on the road.

How to use it

Check that the pump is compatible with the liquid: for diesel, use pumps rated for fuels, and never transfer petrol or flammable solvents with standard pumps. Connect the suction and delivery hoses securely, immerse the suction end and start the pump, checking that it does not run dry. After use, empty and flush the circuit; wear gloves and safety glasses.

Safe use

Before starting the pump, check that the fittings and clamps are tight and adjust the air pressure with the filter-regulator unit. Dispose of dripped oil and soiled rags as oily waste, in accordance with local regulations.
