Screw-type extension Rototec

What it is

The Rototec screw extension is a monobloc linear polyethylene (LLDPE) riser chamber, 300 mm high, for the same manufacturer's underground tanks. It has a male thread at the base, which screws onto the manhole of the tank, and a female thread at the top for the screw cap already supplied with the tank. The models are PP30 (Ø 300 mm, inspection 210), PP35 (Ø 435, inspection 300), PP45 (Ø 535, inspection 400) and the RIM versions with an adapter for reinforced tanks, PP35RIM and PP60RIM.

Water system accessories are the components that complete a tank- or pump-fed water system: foot valves, pressure vessels, tank connectors, nipples, fittings and tank extensions.

What it is for

Used for water drainage, for filtering system water and in the installation and maintenance of plumbing systems.

How to use it

Choose diameters and threads compatible with the tank, pump and pipework, and seal threads with tape or a sealant approved for water. Fit tank connectors by drilling the tank wall at the designated point and tightening the seals without overstressing the plastic. Pre-charge the pressure vessel to the pressure required by the system and check it periodically; the foot valve goes on the suction line, raised off the bottom so it does not draw in sludge.
