What it is
The ES hammer-set mechanical anchor by Bossong is an anchor in galvanised steel with an internal thread and a reinforced rim, designed for secure fixings in concrete. Approved for multiple fixings of non-structural elements according to ETA standards, it provides fire resistance and quick installation by striking with a setting punch. Ideal for civil, industrial and infrastructure building work, it stands out for reliability and versatility, with diameters available from 8 to 12 mm (M12 included).
Heavy-duty fixings are steel or reinforced nylon anchors that carry high loads in concrete and solid masonry.
What it is for
Used for anchoring shelves, brackets and structures to walls and for mechanical fixing of structures and components to walls, ceilings and floors.
How to use it
Drill with a bit of the specified diameter to the required depth, then clean the hole with a brush and blow-out pump. Insert the anchor through the part to be fixed, hammering it in if necessary, and tighten the nut with a torque wrench to the torque specified by the manufacturer. Observe the minimum edge distances and spacings stated in the technical data sheet.
