Wood screws and washers CSC Edilizia

What it is

The wood screw and washer kit by CSC Edilizia gathers the fixing hardware dedicated to mounting safety systems on timber structures. The range includes countersunk-head Torx partially threaded screws in sizes 8x80, 8x100 and 8x120 mm, countersunk-head fully threaded cut-point screws 10x160 and 12x200 mm, and cylindrical-head fully threaded screws 10x350 and 12x300 mm, all in CE versions. It is completed by under-screw washers Ø8, Ø10 and Ø12 mm and cylindrical washers Ø10 and Ø12 mm.

Wood screws are screws with a wood thread, also supplied with a plug or collar, for assembling timber and fixing frames and battens to walls.

What it is for

Used for woodworking in the joinery shop and for fixing into timber, from assembly work to carpentry.

How to use it

Choose a length that penetrates at least two-thirds into the second piece. In hardwoods or near edges, pre-drill to prevent the wood from splitting. Drive with a bit of the right size, keeping the screwdriver in line and setting the clutch so as not to strip the head.
