What it is

DeWalt DFM3520550 frame screws are a fastener for installing windows, doors and frames that require a deep anchorage in the substrate. With a length of 152 mm, they are designed to reach the masonry even where there are larger installation gaps and greater distances to bridge, ensuring a stable connection of the frame. They are supplied individually.

A frame screw is a long screw with a special thread that fixes door and window frames directly to the wall, without a plug.

What it is for

Used for anchoring shelves, brackets and structures to walls and for general-purpose fixing into masonry, concrete and timber.

How to use it

Set the frame level with wedges and drill through frame and wall with the specified bit. Drive the screw until the frame is secured without distorting it, then recheck the alignment. Cover the head with the cover caps provided and fill the gaps with the specified material.
