What it is

DeWalt DFM3520400 frame screws are fasteners for installing windows, doors and frames with medium-to-small installation gaps. With a diameter of 7.5 mm and a length of 92 mm, they offer a good compromise between ease of driving and anchoring depth in the masonry, for a stable connection of the frame to the wall.

A frame screw is a long screw with a special thread that fixes door and window frames directly to the wall, without a plug.

What it is for

Used for anchoring shelves, brackets and structures to walls and for general-purpose fixing into masonry, concrete and timber.

How to use it

Set the frame level with wedges and drill through frame and wall with the specified bit. Drive the screw until the frame is secured without distorting it, then recheck the alignment. Cover the head with the cover caps provided and fill the gaps with the specified material.
