What it is

DeWalt DFM3510500 frame screws are a fixing dedicated to the installation of windows, doors and frames that require a very deep anchorage. With a diameter of 7.5 mm and a length of 182 mm, they pass through substantial thicknesses and find a grip in the solid part of the masonry, where the connection is stronger and longer lasting.

A frame screw is a long screw with a special thread that fixes door and window frames directly to the wall, without a plug.

What it is for

Used for anchoring shelves, brackets and structures to walls and for general-purpose fixing into masonry, concrete and timber.

How to use it

Set the frame level with wedges and drill through frame and wall with the specified bit. Drive the screw until the frame is secured without distorting it, then recheck the alignment. Cover the head with the cover caps provided and fill the gaps with the specified material.
