What it is

The DeWalt DT8951-QZ drill bit from the XLR Full Head range with an SDS-Plus shank is available in a multi-pack of 10 pieces and is designed for drilling concrete with professional rotary hammers. The diameter of 5 mm and the working length of 100 mm make it suitable for small holes of medium depth, while the carbide head ensures fast, even progress. The reduced-vibration structure improves operator comfort.

A masonry bit is a carbide-tipped bit for drilling concrete, brick and stone with a hammer drill or rotary hammer.

How to use it

Choose the machine's shank type (straight, SDS-Plus or SDS-Max) and the diameter required by the wall plug. Start the hole at low speed, then engage hammer action, holding the bit square to the surface and without forcing, withdrawing it frequently to clear the dust. Clean the dust out of the hole before inserting the plug.
