What it is

The DeWalt DT8955-QZ drill bit is a percussion tool with an SDS-Plus shank, designed for drilling concrete with precision and consistency. It has a diameter of 6 mm and a useful working length of 50 mm, with a carbide-tip head that guarantees immediate bite into the material and long life. The reduced-vibration technology improves operating comfort, while the low weight of about 0.407 kg makes it easy to handle even during prolonged work. It is supplied in a multi-pack of 10 pieces.

How to use it

Choose the machine's shank type (straight, SDS-Plus or SDS-Max) and the diameter required by the wall plug. Start the hole at low speed, then engage hammer action, holding the bit square to the surface and without forcing, withdrawing it frequently to clear the dust. Clean the dust out of the hole before inserting the plug.
