What it is

The DeWalt DT8968-QZ drill bit is a percussion tool with an SDS-Plus shank for drilling concrete. It has a diameter of 10 mm, an overall length of 210 mm and a working length of 150 mm, with a four-flute geometry that aids debris removal; the carbide-grit head ensures decisive penetration and long life. It is supplied in a multi-pack of 10 pieces.

How to use it

Choose the machine's shank type (straight, SDS-Plus or SDS-Max) and the diameter required by the wall plug. Start the hole at low speed, then engage hammer action, holding the bit square to the surface and without forcing, withdrawing it frequently to clear the dust. Clean the dust out of the hole before inserting the plug.
