What it is

The DeWalt DT8965-QZ drill bit is a percussion accessory with an SDS-Plus shank for drilling concrete. With a diameter of 8 mm and a working length of 100 mm, it is designed for medium-sized holes of good depth; the carbide-grit head ensures effective bite and wear resistance. The reduced-vibration technology improves operating comfort, while the weight of about 0.607 kg ensures good balance during work. It is supplied in a multi-pack of 10 pieces.

How to use it

Choose the machine's shank type (straight, SDS-Plus or SDS-Max) and the diameter required by the wall plug. Start the hole at low speed, then engage hammer action, holding the bit square to the surface and without forcing, withdrawing it frequently to clear the dust. Clean the dust out of the hole before inserting the plug.
