SDS-plus Extreme bit 5x110x50mm DeWalt DT9504-QZ

What it is

The DeWalt DT9504-QZ is an Extreme range bit with an SDS-Plus shank, a diameter of 5 mm and a working length of 50 mm. The carbide head and two-cutting-edge body are designed for precise drilling in concrete, delivering clean, well-centred holes at small diameters. The short geometry makes it convenient for close-quarters work.

A masonry bit is a carbide-tipped bit for drilling concrete, brick and stone with a hammer drill or rotary hammer.

Used for drilling reinforced concrete, in hammer or rotary hammer mode and for drilling solid and hollow masonry, clay brick and blocks.

How to use it

Choose the machine's shank type (straight, SDS-Plus or SDS-Max) and the diameter required by the wall plug. Start the hole at low speed, then engage hammer action, holding the bit square to the surface and without forcing, withdrawing it frequently to clear the dust. Clean the dust out of the hole before inserting the plug.
