SDS-plus Extreme bit 7x160x100mm DeWalt DT9525-QZ

What it is

The DeWalt DT9525-QZ is a 7 mm diameter SDS-Plus Extreme bit dedicated to hammer drilling in concrete. The carbide grit head, two-cutting-edge geometry and reinforced core give it good behaviour under stress and consistent drilling, while the SDS-Plus shank ensures compatibility with common rotary hammers. The working length of 100 mm makes it versatile for medium-depth holes.

A masonry bit is a carbide-tipped bit for drilling concrete, brick and stone with a hammer drill or rotary hammer.

What it is for

Used for drilling reinforced concrete, in hammer or rotary hammer mode and for drilling solid and hollow masonry, clay brick and blocks.

How to use it

Choose the machine's shank type (straight, SDS-Plus or SDS-Max) and the diameter required by the wall plug. Start the hole at low speed, then engage hammer action, holding the bit square to the surface and without forcing, withdrawing it frequently to clear the dust. Clean the dust out of the hole before inserting the plug.
