SDS-plus Extreme bit 8x110x50mm DeWalt DT9528-QZ

What it is

The DeWalt DT9528-QZ is an 8 mm diameter SDS-Plus Extreme bit dedicated to hammer drilling in concrete. It features a carbide-tooth head and two-cutting-edge geometry that ensures a decisive bite into the material, while the SDS-Plus shank allows direct coupling with compatible rotary hammers. With a working length of 50 mm, it is a compact bit, suited to shallow holes and surface fixings.

A masonry bit is a carbide-tipped bit for drilling concrete, brick and stone with a hammer drill or rotary hammer.

Used for drilling reinforced concrete, in hammer or rotary hammer mode and for drilling solid and hollow masonry, clay brick and blocks.

How to use it

Choose the machine's shank type (straight, SDS-Plus or SDS-Max) and the diameter required by the wall plug. Start the hole at low speed, then engage hammer action, holding the bit square to the surface and without forcing, withdrawing it frequently to clear the dust. Clean the dust out of the hole before inserting the plug.
