SDS-plus Extreme bit 14x1000x950mm DeWalt DT9572-QZ

What it is

The DeWalt DT9572-QZ is a 14 mm diameter SDS-Plus Extreme bit with a working length of 950 mm, among the longest in the range, intended for drilling concrete with SDS-Plus rotary hammers. The carbide head ensures wear resistance in abrasive materials, while the SDS-Plus shank allows quick tool changes and effective transmission of the hammering action. The extended length makes it possible to reach hard-to-access areas without extensions.

A masonry bit is a carbide-tipped bit for drilling concrete, brick and stone with a hammer drill or rotary hammer.

Used for drilling reinforced concrete, in hammer or rotary hammer mode and for drilling solid and hollow masonry, clay brick and blocks.

How to use it

Choose the machine's shank type (straight, SDS-Plus or SDS-Max) and the diameter required by the wall plug. Start the hole at low speed, then engage hammer action, holding the bit square to the surface and without forcing, withdrawing it frequently to clear the dust. Clean the dust out of the hole before inserting the plug.
