SDS-plus Extreme bit 14x160x100mm DeWalt DT9566-QZ

What it is

The DeWalt DT9566-QZ is a 14 mm diameter SDS-Plus Extreme bit with a working length of 110 mm, developed for drilling concrete with rotary hammers fitted with an SDS-Plus chuck. The carbide-tooth head offers wear resistance in abrasive substrates, while the reinforced core improves the rigidity and precision of the hole. The SDS-Plus shank ensures quick engagement and effective transmission of the hammering energy.

A masonry bit is a carbide-tipped bit for drilling concrete, brick and stone with a hammer drill or rotary hammer.

How to use it

Choose the machine's shank type (straight, SDS-Plus or SDS-Max) and the diameter required by the wall plug. Start the hole at low speed, then engage hammer action, holding the bit square to the surface and without forcing, withdrawing it frequently to clear the dust. Clean the dust out of the hole before inserting the plug.
