SDS-plus Extreme bit 22x450x400mm DeWalt DT9604-QZ

What it is

The DeWalt DT9604-QZ is an SDS-Plus Extreme bit with a diameter of 22 mm and a working length of 400 mm, designed for deeper holes in concrete. The carbide-tooth head and two-cutting-edge geometry (2 cutters) offer a decisive bite into the material, while the SDS-Plus shank ensures quick changes and a secure grip on rotary hammers fitted with this chuck.

A masonry bit is a carbide-tipped bit for drilling concrete, brick and stone with a hammer drill or rotary hammer.

How to use it

Choose the machine's shank type (straight, SDS-Plus or SDS-Max) and the diameter required by the wall plug. Start the hole at low speed, then engage hammer action, holding the bit square to the surface and without forcing, withdrawing it frequently to clear the dust. Clean the dust out of the hole before inserting the plug.
