What it is

The DeWalt DT9611-QZ is an SDS-Plus Extreme bit with a diameter of 25 mm and a working length of 200 mm, sized for large-section holes in concrete. The carbide-tooth head and two-cutting-edge design (2 cutters) promote precise engagement with the material, while the SDS-Plus shank allows quick, secure insertion into compatible rotary hammers.

A masonry bit is a carbide-tipped bit for drilling concrete, brick and stone with a hammer drill or rotary hammer.

Used for drilling reinforced concrete, in hammer or rotary hammer mode and for drilling solid and hollow masonry, clay brick and blocks.

How to use it

Choose the machine's shank type (straight, SDS-Plus or SDS-Max) and the diameter required by the wall plug. Start the hole at low speed, then engage hammer action, holding the bit square to the surface and without forcing, withdrawing it frequently to clear the dust. Clean the dust out of the hole before inserting the plug.
