SDS-plus Extreme bit 26x250x200mm DeWalt DT9615-QZ

What it is

The DeWalt DT9615-QZ is an SDS-Plus Extreme bit with a diameter of 26 mm and a working length of 200 mm, suited to large-section holes in concrete. The carbide grit head and two-cutting-edge design (2 cutters) ensure effective engagement with the material, while the SDS-Plus shank allows quick changes and a firm hold on compatible rotary hammers.

A masonry bit is a carbide-tipped bit for drilling concrete, brick and stone with a hammer drill or rotary hammer.

Used for drilling reinforced concrete, in hammer or rotary hammer mode and for drilling solid and hollow masonry, clay brick and blocks.

How to use it

Choose the machine's shank type (straight, SDS-Plus or SDS-Max) and the diameter required by the wall plug. Start the hole at low speed, then engage hammer action, holding the bit square to the surface and without forcing, withdrawing it frequently to clear the dust. Clean the dust out of the hole before inserting the plug.
