What it is
The VBS Fischer extended fixing is a stand-off anchoring system in stainless steel made of AISI 316 (A4 grade), designed for mounting items set off from the wall. The material, an A4 austenitic stainless steel, offers high corrosion resistance, even in aggressive and outdoor environments. The product complies with the relevant industry standards ETA, EAD, EN 1992-4 and EU Regulation 305/2011 (CPR).
Heavy-duty fixings are steel or reinforced nylon anchors that carry high loads in concrete and solid masonry.
What it is for
Used for anchoring shelves, brackets and structures to walls, for mechanical fixing of structures and components to walls, ceilings and floors and for structural fixings, where the fixing is load-bearing and must be calculated.
How to use it
Drill with a bit of the specified diameter to the required depth, then clean the hole with a brush and blow-out pump. Insert the anchor through the part to be fixed, hammering it in if necessary, and tighten the nut with a torque wrench to the torque specified by the manufacturer. Observe the minimum edge distances and spacings stated in the technical data sheet.
