What it is
Plate diffuser for fine-bubble aeration of oxidation/equalisation tanks in wastewater treatment plants; designed for engineers and installers. Main specifications: Ø 250 mm, EPDM membrane (hardness 60° ±5), R 3/4 NPT connection, air flow 1.5–8.5 m³/h, operating temperature 0–100 °C, diffusion area 1.67 m². Intended uses: oxidation/nitrification tanks, equalisation with continuous aeration, Rototec wastewater treatment plants. Technical advantages: fine bubbles 1–3 mm (≈8300 micro-holes), high-quality EPDM membrane, low pressure drop, standard R 3/4 NPT connection, temperature 0–100 °C.
The diffuser is the element that feeds the air produced by the blower into the tank, breaking it up into fine bubbles; it can be disc or tubular.
What it is for
Used for filtering system water and in the installation and maintenance of plumbing systems.
How to use it
Lay it on the bottom of the tank, horizontal and firmly secured, and connect it to the air line with watertight fittings. Check that the bubbles come out evenly over the whole surface. Remove and clean it regularly to prevent the membrane from clogging.
