What it is
PKS (code PKS) is a Pedrollo electric pump — self-priming electric pumps with peripheral impeller, with flow rate up to 50 l/min (3.0 m³/h), head up to 70 m, manometric suction lift up to 9 m. Professional product, reliable for intensive use.
A clean water pump is a surface or submersible electric pump that lifts or pressurises clear water from wells, cisterns and tanks.
What it is for
Used in irrigation systems, from the water supply point to the emitter and for pumping water out of excavations, tanks and sumps.
How to use it
Install surface pumps on a level base close to the draw-off point, with a foot valve on the suction pipe, and fill them with water before first start-up; lower submersible pumps suspended on a rope. Use them only with clean, sand-free water and never let them run dry. Connect them to a circuit protected by an RCD and, in winter, drain outdoor pumps to protect them from frost.
