SDS Plus hollow bit 16 mm DeWalt DT60342-QZ

What it is

The DeWalt DT60342-QZ hollow drill bit has a 16 mm diameter and an SDS-Plus shank, designed for drilling masonry with standard rotary hammers. The carbide-insert head with 2-cutter configuration ensures wear resistance and a precise start, while the working length of 250 mm over an overall length of 43.2 cm allows deep drilling for demanding fixings. The SDS-Plus shank ensures optimal transmission of the hammering action; the bit weighs 0.47 kg.

The drill bit with dust extraction is a bit with a hollow shank that collects the dust directly from the hole and carries it to the connected vacuum cleaner.

Used for drilling reinforced concrete, in hammer or rotary hammer mode and for drilling solid and hollow masonry, clay brick and blocks.

How to use it

Connect the shank to the vacuum cleaner with the specified adapter and switch on the extraction before drilling. Drill with the hammer action, without forcing, keeping the bit in line. Check that the hose does not become blocked and empty the container. Even with extraction, wear a dust mask and goggles, because silica dust is harmful.
