SDS-plus bit 14x210mm DeWalt DT9651-QZ

What it is

The DeWalt DT9651-QZ SDS-Plus drill bit is a professional drilling tool with a 14 mm diameter and an overall length of 210 mm, of which 150 mm is usable working length. The 2-cutter geometry and carbide-insert head are designed for hammer drilling in concrete, while the SDS PLUS shank ensures a quick, secure fit in rotary hammers and electro-pneumatic hammer drills.

A masonry bit is a carbide-tipped bit for drilling concrete, brick and stone with a hammer drill or rotary hammer.

Used for drilling reinforced concrete, in hammer or rotary hammer mode and for drilling solid and hollow masonry, clay brick and blocks.

How to use it

Choose the machine's shank type (straight, SDS-Plus or SDS-Max) and the diameter required by the wall plug. Start the hole at low speed, then engage hammer action, holding the bit square to the surface and without forcing, withdrawing it frequently to clear the dust. Clean the dust out of the hole before inserting the plug.
