What it is

The DeWalt DT9665-QZ SDS-Plus drill bit has a 10 mm diameter, an overall length of 110 mm and 50 mm of working length. The carbide-tipped head and 2 cutters are optimised for hammer drilling in concrete, while the SDS PLUS shank ensures quick, secure fitting in professional hammers and rotary hammers.

How to use it

Choose the machine's shank type (straight, SDS-Plus or SDS-Max) and the diameter required by the wall plug. Start the hole at low speed, then engage hammer action, holding the bit square to the surface and without forcing, withdrawing it frequently to clear the dust. Clean the dust out of the hole before inserting the plug.
