SDS-plus bit 12x310mm DeWalt DT9649-QZ

What it is

The DeWalt DT9649-QZ is an SDS-Plus bit with a diameter of 12 mm, an overall length of 310 mm and a working length of 250 mm. The carbide-tooth head and two-cutting-edge design (2 cutters) ensure precise engagement with concrete, while the reinforced core improves the strength of the bit in use. The SDS-Plus shank allows quick changes and a firm hold on compatible rotary hammers.

How to use it

Choose the machine's shank type (straight, SDS-Plus or SDS-Max) and the diameter required by the wall plug. Start the hole at low speed, then engage hammer action, holding the bit square to the surface and without forcing, withdrawing it frequently to clear the dust. Clean the dust out of the hole before inserting the plug.
