SDS-plus bit 16x210mm DeWalt DT9653-QZ

What it is

The DeWalt DT9653-QZ SDS-Plus drill bit has a 16 mm diameter and an overall length of 210 mm, with 150 mm of usable working length. Made with a carbide-insert head and 2-cutter geometry, it is designed for hammer drilling in concrete. The SDS PLUS shank ensures quick insertion and a secure grip in rotary hammers and hammer drills.

A masonry bit is a carbide-tipped bit for drilling concrete, brick and stone with a hammer drill or rotary hammer.

Used for drilling reinforced concrete, in hammer or rotary hammer mode and for drilling solid and hollow masonry, clay brick and blocks.

How to use it

Choose the machine's shank type (straight, SDS-Plus or SDS-Max) and the diameter required by the wall plug. Start the hole at low speed, then engage hammer action, holding the bit square to the surface and without forcing, withdrawing it frequently to clear the dust. Clean the dust out of the hole before inserting the plug.
