SDS-plus bit 14x160mm DeWalt DT9650-QZ

What it is

The DeWalt DT9650-QZ is an SDS-Plus bit with a diameter of 14 mm, an overall length of 160 mm and a working length of 100 mm. The carbide grit head and two-cutting-edge design (2 cutters) ensure effective engagement with concrete, while the reinforced core increases its strength under stress. The SDS-Plus shank allows quick changes and a firm hold on compatible rotary hammers.

A masonry bit is a carbide-tipped bit for drilling concrete, brick and stone with a hammer drill or rotary hammer.

How to use it

Choose the machine's shank type (straight, SDS-Plus or SDS-Max) and the diameter required by the wall plug. Start the hole at low speed, then engage hammer action, holding the bit square to the surface and without forcing, withdrawing it frequently to clear the dust. Clean the dust out of the hole before inserting the plug.
