What it is

The Fischer STS A2 double-thread screw is a fastening element in A2 stainless steel, designed for mounting components with the option of adjusting the distance from the substrate thanks to the two threaded sections. It is supplied in a box of 100 pieces. The use of A2 stainless steel offers good corrosion resistance, suitable even for damp environments.

Wood screws are screws with a wood thread, also supplied with a plug or collar, for assembling timber and fixing frames and battens to walls.

What it is for

Used for fixing into timber, from assembly work to carpentry and for supporting pipework and ductwork.

How to use it

Choose a length that penetrates at least two-thirds into the second piece. In hardwoods or near edges, pre-drill to prevent the wood from splitting. Drive with a bit of the right size, keeping the screwdriver in line and setting the clutch so as not to strip the head.
