SDS-plus bit 6x110mm DeWalt DT9663-QZ

What it is

The DeWalt DT9663-QZ SDS-Plus drill bit has a 6 mm diameter, an overall length of 110 mm and 50 mm of working length. The carbide-tipped head and 2 cutters are designed for hammer drilling in concrete; the SDS PLUS shank ensures quick changes and a secure grip in hammers and rotary hammers.

A masonry bit is a carbide-tipped bit for drilling concrete, brick and stone with a hammer drill or rotary hammer.

Used for drilling reinforced concrete, in hammer or rotary hammer mode and for drilling solid and hollow masonry, clay brick and blocks.

How to use it

Choose the machine's shank type (straight, SDS-Plus or SDS-Max) and the diameter required by the wall plug. Start the hole at low speed, then engage hammer action, holding the bit square to the surface and without forcing, withdrawing it frequently to clear the dust. Clean the dust out of the hole before inserting the plug.
