Through expansion anchor NWS-CEX2 Bossong

What it is

The NWS-CEX2 through-bolt expansion anchor by Bossong is a mechanical anchor designed for structural applications in uncracked concrete, able to support heavy loads. Made of A2 stainless steel, it offers high corrosion resistance and lasting durability. Its through design allows a secure, stable fixing, ideal for civil and industrial building. Available in diameters from M6 to M20 and in various lengths, it suits variable thicknesses, offering operating flexibility on site.

Heavy-duty fixings are steel or reinforced nylon anchors that carry high loads in concrete and solid masonry.

What it is for

Used for anchoring shelves, brackets and structures to walls, for mechanical fixing of structures and components to walls, ceilings and floors and for structural fixings, where the fixing is load-bearing and must be calculated.

How to use it

Drill with a bit of the specified diameter to the required depth, then clean the hole with a brush and blow-out pump. Insert the anchor through the part to be fixed, hammering it in if necessary, and tighten the nut with a torque wrench to the torque specified by the manufacturer. Observe the minimum edge distances and spacings stated in the technical data sheet.
