What it is
The NWS through-bolt expansion anchor by Bossong is a mechanical anchor in galvanised steel designed for applications in uncracked concrete with heavy loads. Ideal for the civil sector, it ensures a secure, lasting fixing thanks to its controlled expansion system. The range includes diameters from M6 to M24 and variable lengths to suit different material thicknesses, offering flexibility during installation.
Heavy-duty fixings are steel or reinforced nylon anchors that carry high loads in concrete and solid masonry.
What it is for
Used for anchoring shelves, brackets and structures to walls, for mechanical fixing of structures and components to walls, ceilings and floors and for structural fixings, where the fixing is load-bearing and must be calculated.
How to use it
Drill with a bit of the specified diameter to the required depth, then clean the hole with a brush and blow-out pump. Insert the anchor through the part to be fixed, hammering it in if necessary, and tighten the nut with a torque wrench to the torque specified by the manufacturer. Observe the minimum edge distances and spacings stated in the technical data sheet.
